- Do not practice cleaning remedies at home to avoid permanently damaging the jewellery. Always seek professional assistance. Examples of remedies are using toothpaste, boiling water or glass cleaners
- Do not wear your jewelry to swim as chlorine will damage your jewelry. Also, avoid direct contact with harsh detergents as it may damage your jewelry
- Do not store your jewelry altogether as it will scratch one another, ensure that you store your jewelry pieces separately in a pouch or a jewelry box

Do remember it is essential to have your jewelry checked at least once a year for any loose prongs or any general wear and tear conditions.
