INTRODUCTION

We are Dejewel Galleria Pte. Ltd., 1 HarbourFront Walk #01-206 VivoCity Singapore 098585, found at www.dejewelgalleria.com.

Dejewel Galleria is a fine jeweler based in Singapore. International credit card payments that you make through the site will be processed by Dejewel Galleria, a company registered in Singapore.

These terms and conditions govern the supply and delivery by us of any product ordered by you on our website. By placing an order for our products through our site, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.

FOR STORE POLICIES

1.      EXCHANGE

Items sold cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Dejewel Galleria is not liable for damages caused by customer negligence or the mishandling and misuse of items, and these items will not be refunded and exchanged. A change of mind concerning your purchase does not constitute a valid reason for requesting an exchange or refund and we reserve the right to refuse such requests.

A thorough visual inspection of the item before the point of transaction is also considered to be a mutual agreement and acknowledgement that the product is in good condition.The product delivered to you will match the description of the product that was provided to you at the point of purchase. If for some reason, minor changes have to be made, you will be informed of the changes.

Exchanges will only be considered under extreme circumstances and will be reviewed, case by case, by the Management.In the case of defects in any piece, Dejewel Galleria is only liable to repair or replace the particular piece. Merchandise is warranted against defects in workmanship and material.

Items for exchange must be in original and unworn condition. “Original and unworn” means that there must be no marks, blemishes, scratches and/or alterations. It must be accompanied with the original sales receipt as well as non-tampered certificates, if applicable. All refunds will be given in credits for use at Dejewel Galleria Pte. Ltd.

No refund of difference will be given if the price of the exchanged item is lower than the original item. Your exchange request should be accompanied by a detailed explanation of why you want to exchange the item, backed by valid reasons for the exchange. Please make sure that your request does not come into conflict with our Terms and Condition.

As a fair business practice, we do not accept trade-in items from other companies nor do we sell used and/or second hand goods.

Gentle Note: Custom-made orders are not exchangeable. Custom orders consist of jewelry that has been modified from its original design. These include items that are not within the standard design of that particular piece or style of jewelry.

2.      CUSTOM-MADE ORDERS AND RESERVED ITEMS

Custom-made orders and reserved items must be collected within 90 days, or deposit will be forfeited without any formal writing requesting for extension, whatsoever.

A security deposit of 30% of the total sales price is requiredfor custom-made orders and for reserved items.

Any change in the custom-made order or reserved item must be communicated clearly to the company within a reasonable time. Changes with the same sales price or higher are allowed.

3.      ALTERATION, REPAIR AND OTHER SERVICES

We provide a one-time complimentary alteration service for items purchased from the store.

Any other additional requests for alteration, repair and/or other services will be determined when the items are sentfor inspection at ourshowroom and may be subject to setting and repair cost, if applicable.

We recommend that you continue to send your jewelry to us for servicing. This would allow us and our craftsman to have a complete and detailed understanding of the background and processes that your jewelry product(s) has undergone, such as alterations, repairs and other services.

Gentle Note: The company will not be held liable and responsible in any means or form for any issue arising from the repair item, should the purchased item have been first and/or subsequently repaired by yourself, someone else or any external party (other than Dejewel Galleria) and if you/they had damaged or caused any defect in the item. Dejewel Galleria will not be held liable for damages caused by wear and tear or habits and lifestyle that cause damages to the jewelry.

4.      WARRANTY/GUARANTEE

When you shop with us, you can rest assured that every item you purchase is a hundred percent genuine.

With every item purchased, you will receive an official receipt with our registered company logo printed clearly, along with your name and product information.

Product information includes details such as the total gold karat weight and the total diamond/gemstone carat weight. For our customer’s security, we issue a Certificate of Guarantee for each item and, if applicable, an International Laboratory Report.

FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

1.      REQUIREMENTS

To purchase items from our site, you have to be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a Bank recognized by us. You are required to supply us with information about yourself that is up-to-date, accurate and true.

By using this site, you agree that we may use the information you provide us with for the purposes of conducting necessary anti-fraud checks. This information may be disclosed to a credit reference or a fraud prevention agency.

2.      CONTRACT

Regardless of any previous price you may have heard or seen, once you choose a product you wish to place an order for on our site, you will be given the charges you must pay including the relevant prevailing government taxes/levies and any additional charges such as delivery charges. International customers are responsible for any additional taxes/levies incurred, subject to the import and export rules and regulations of each individual country. All transactions are carried out in Singapore Dollar currency.

Payment for the product in full is required at the time of ordering. You will need to provide us with your credit or debit card details from a Bank acceptable to us or by Paypal before we process your order.

When you submit your credit card information, you undertake that all the details you provide us with are correct, and that the credit or debit card that you choose to use has the necessary funds to pay for the product ordered. We reserve the right to validate your payment details before delivering the product to you.

When you submit an order, you accept the current terms and conditions at the date you submit your order. You accept responsibility for keeping yourself updated on the latest terms and conditions each time you place an order.

Until we have accepted your order, there is no binding agreement to supply the product. A contract is only made when your order has been accepted. A “Confirmation of Order” will be emailed to you. Until the time when we accept your order, we reserve the right to refuse to process your order and you reserve the right to cancel your order as well.

If, for some reason, you have made an error in placing your order after you have submitted it to the site, please contact us immediately at contact@dejewelgalleria.com or +65 6376 8198. However, there is not guarantee that we will be able to amend your order.

A binding contract only applies to orders which have been confirmed with an official “Confirmation of Order” notice and is only applicable to products that are reflected on the confirmation slip. We are not obligated to supply any other items which may have been part of your order until an official confirmation is sent regarding those products.

3.      DELIVERY/ SHIPPING

We aim to deliver the product(s) you have ordered through our site at the place of delivery requested by you in your order form.

Local orders will be processed for delivery from Monday through to Friday, Singapore Local Time (GMT + 8). Please allow 5-7 working days for local orders to be delivered to you. International orders will take 7-10 days. We strive to deliver all ordered products within one month of the date of purchase. Please do note that when you place a customized order, it will take approximately 4-8 weeks to have the order ready, before we can dispatch it. We will notify you through email when the product(s) is dispatched/delivered.

If we are unable to meet our estimated delivery date, we aim to inform you of the delay. But to the extent permitted by the law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charger or expenses arising out of late delivery.

You will have to sign for the product upon delivery. You agree to inspect the product for any obvious defects, damages or faults before you sign for delivery. It is advised that you keep the receipt of the delivered product in the event that you may need it for future use.

If we are unable to deliver the product(s) to the specified location, you will have the option of cancelling your order or to request for it to be delivered to an alternative address.

We deliver in our standard packaging. Any special packaging requests is subject to additional charges.

We are only liable for damages and faults up to the point of delivery. Upon delivery of the product, we are no longer liable for damages or losses that occur after that point.

If you are not available to accept the delivery, instructions on re-delivery or collection from the carrier will be issued to you.

If the collection of the product is delayed through your refusal to accept delivery within a reasonable timethen we will either charge you for the storage fee and other additional costs borne by us or no longer make the product available for collection. You will be informed of the termination of the contract. We will refund you the amount that you have paid for the product ordered. However, you will have to bear the additional costs such as the delivery and returning costs as well as any additional storage fees that may have been incurred as well.

You may also choose to collect the product directly from our showroom or at our corporate office. Please do give us sufficient notice and inform us in advance upon the receipt of the ‘Confirmation of Order’ notice. We reserve all rights to decline a self-collection request once the product(s) has been dispatched.

4.      PAYMENT

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit, and Electron cards, and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the site.

You verify that the credit/debit card information that you have supplied us with is yours or that you have been authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. Dejewel  Galleria will only dispatch your order when payment has been authorized. If the issuer of your payment card does not authorize payment, we reserve the right to delay delivery or terminate the contract for the purchase in question.

We take extreme caution in keeping the details of your purchase secure. However, we are not liable for any loss that may be incurred if an unauthorized third party procures illegal access to your data through no fault of ours.

5.      FAULTY PRODUCTS

We guarantee that all our products will be delivered in good condition in the quantities ordered and that the product specifications will match the ones that were agreed upon when your order was placed. All products(s) are checked by us before order, packaging and delivery.

If, for some reason, the product reaches you in a less than excellent condition, you agree to send the product back to us in the condition it arrived in so thatwe can carry out a thorough inspection of the product.

If a claim is made for a faulty product, a thorough report including important information such as describing the damage to the product in detail, providing us with the delivery number and other relevant information.

We will not be held liable for items that have been misused or have been treated carelessly, or have been damaged as a result of wear and tear. We are not responsible for items that have been damaged through an attempt at repair or modification on your part.

After delivery by us, we reserve the right to decide not to repair, replace or refund you for the product and/or we may require you to pay all reasonable delivery costs and servicing costs at our current standard fees. These costs will be charged to your credit or debit card, or the payment details that you supplied us with when your order was placed, and, to the extent permitted by the law, we shall not be liable to you for any damages, losses, liabilities, costs, charges or expenses that result from actions that we are not responsible for.

6.      VOUCHERS

Promotional vouchers and gift vouchers can be used as payment for products on the site.

To redeem vouchers, you have to log in to your Dejewel Galleria account.

We may email gift and promotional vouchers to you. Vouchers will be sent to the email address that you provide us with. We are not liable for errors in the email address or the voucher recipient.

Vouchers are transferable and can be used by someone other than you, unless otherwise specified.

In the event of fraud and/or dishonest actions with regards to the redemption of vouchers, we reserve the right to require a different payment method.

We are not responsible for the lost, illegibility or theft of any promotional or gift vouchers.

The validity for each voucher will be clearly printed on each voucher. Each voucher can only be redeemed once and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional vouchers and discounted items unless otherwise stated.

If you purchase a product(s) less than the value of the promotional voucher, you will not be reimbursed for the residual credit.

If the credit of a voucher is insufficient, the difference can be made up through payment.

7.      DATA PROTECTION

8.      FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

We shall no be liable for any breach or delay in the fulfilment of a contract that is caused by circumstances that are beyond our reasonable control. These include the occurrences such as natural disasters and unavoidable incident, actions of third parties (including without limitation hackers, suppliers, governments or local authorities, riots, civil wars or national emergencies)
